Start with the matter the firm accepts
Collision, pedestrian, cycling, fall and insurance-dispute inquiries are not interchangeable. Confirm the firm’s actual scope before constructing prompts or pages. Separate someone seeking general information from someone looking to hire counsel.
Make the consultation understandable
Explain the intake process, who follows up, the relevant service area and how to arrange a conversation. Publish fee and accessibility information only after confirmation by the firm. A useful service page helps a person decide whether to contact the firm without estimating the value of their claim.
Keep outcome claims out of the experiment
Do not invent settlements, success rates or client stories. If a firm supplies past outcomes, require its approval of accuracy, context and publication permissions. Past outcomes must not become predictions for an unknown reader. The measurement program does not need confidential case files.
Check what the answer actually says
For a question such as “Find a personal injury lawyer in Toronto for a bicycle collision,” record not only whether the firm appears but whether the response accurately describes the practice. Check citations for support. Flag errors about fees, offices or case types even if visibility looks favorable.
Choose evidence before expanding pages
Inspect relevant practice pages and biographies, genuine listings and public publications. Clarify real offices versus areas served. Prefer a substantial intake explanation over dozens of duplicated city pages.
Retest the same buyer situations
Group prompts by matter type and location, keep the original questions and paraphrases, and repeat under recorded conditions. Report engine differences and non-answers. Qualified consultations are a separate business outcome, not something to infer from a citation.
