Your next client may ask AI before calling a lawyer
A prospective client might ask for an immigration lawyer for startup founders, an employment lawyer for wrongful dismissal, or a personal injury lawyer after a car accident. An AI answer can name firms before that person opens a traditional search results page. The useful question is whether your firm appears for matters it actually handles.
Twenty Five Labs helps law firms improve how they appear across ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini and Perplexity — from the questions potential clients ask to the sources used in answers. We keep observations separate from explanations we cannot verify.
ChatGPT visibility
Test unbranded client questions and inspect named firms, citations and descriptions. Test your firm name separately to check recognition and factual accuracy. A correct answer about your firm does not establish that new clients will discover it.
Google AI visibility
Review the pages, internal links and technical foundations that support ordinary search and Google AI features. Record AI Overviews and AI Mode separately, including searches that produce no AI answer. Google says existing SEO practices remain relevant; there is no special AI schema requirement.
Gemini and Perplexity visibility
Repeat the same panel in each product, retaining the exact mode, location, date and response. Compare results within each engine. A citation in one product does not establish visibility in another.
Legal content gaps
Map each question to a useful practice page, lawyer biography or consultation explanation. Distinguish practice area, client situation and jurisdiction. Improve missing answers rather than publishing a near-identical page for every keyword or city.
Technical search foundation
Check status codes, readable HTML, indexability, canonicals, sitemap coverage and navigation. Link useful practice pages to the lawyers who handle them. Structured data describes visible facts; it cannot make an unsupported claim true.
Authority and evidence
Check lawyer names, jurisdictions, offices, credentials, publications, associations and genuine professional listings. Review inaccurate third-party information. Publish reviews or outcomes only when the firm supplies suitable evidence and approves their use. A source appearing in an answer is not proof of its causal influence.
What a scoped engagement produces
Start with a defined practice, service area and buyer-question panel. The baseline records outputs and cited sources; the diagnosis becomes a prioritized list of factual, content and technical fixes. The firm reviews legal copy before publication. Retesting compares the same panel and reports unchanged or negative results too.
Deliverables are a baseline log, evidence-gap assessment, reviewable changes and a retest report. Agree the engines, sample size, implementation scope and cadence before work begins. No guaranteed rankings, recommendations or lead volume.
